Alyssa Maurin, DMD

Meet Dr. Alyssa Maurin

Dr. Alyssa Maurin is a general dentist for CDE who has a dedication to providing comprehensive dental care. She graduated summa cum laude from Ramapo College of New Jersey with a BA in visual arts and psychology. After completing her undergraduate education, she completed her Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) certification and moved abroad to El Tiemblo, Spain to teach english to high school students. After returning from Spain, she received her post-baccalaureate pre-medical education at Rider University. She then went on to receive her doctoral degree from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine, where she received the International College of Dentists Student Humanitarian Award for her dedication to outreach, service, and public health.  Dr. Maurin continued her post-doctoral training with a residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the Stratton VA Medical Center in Albany, NY. She currently holds memberships with the American Dental Association, Connecticut State Dental Association, Hartford Dental Society, and Academy of General Dentistry.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Maurin enjoys hiking, rock climbing, photography, traveling, and spending time with her two cats, Zuko and Azula
